Appendix 12 - Proposed improvements to the Regional Strategic
Transport Network
The Roads Service Preparation Pool comprises the highest
priority major works schemes, which have yet to be taken through
the necessary statutory procedures. These are mainly focused
on improvements to the strategic road network.
The need for further improvements to the roads on the Regional
Strategic Transportation Network will be informed by the 10-year
Regional Transportation Strategy.
